Enquiries and bookings

When you send an enquiry, we collect the name, contact details, dates, guest count and message you provide so the team can respond. An enquiry is not a reservation. Bookings and payment arrangements are handled through Smoobu or the marketplace you choose.

Optional stay updates

Availability updates and returning-guest offers require a separate, unticked opt-in. We keep a record of your choice and its date. To stop these emails or ask us to remove your details, contact hello@thesunsetedition.com. We do not enrol previous guests automatically.

Website services

AppDeploy hosts the website and stores enquiries. FormSubmit processes enquiry emails and may ask you to complete a spam check. Google Analytics measures site use. Smoobu handles availability and booking checkout. These services may process information outside South Africa under their own privacy policies.

Where enquiries come from

We retain campaign tags, referral partner codes and the landing page with enquiries. A short-lived browser session record keeps this source as you move between pages. We do not send your name, email, phone number or message to Google Analytics as event fields.
